Adelaide
writer and arts worker Kylie Maslen has been living with invisible illness for
more than half her life. In her brilliant new personal essay collection, Show
Me Where it Hurts, she explores how her struggles with chronic pain and
mental health have shaped her life in every aspect of her daily life – from
work to dating, from living in the present to planning for the future. She’ll
talk to Jo Case about her experiences and insights, and how she’s found
comfort, connection and joy through pop music, art, literature, TV, online
culture – and her beloved AFL.
