This is just a quick note to let you know that as of today, Tuesday 12 December, 2017, we can no longer guarantee Australia Post deliveries prior to the Christmas public holidays. We still offer free in store collection on every online order and will continue to process orders right through until Christmas Eve. In our final message of the year, we'd like to thank you for the immense support you've given us throughout 2017. From a record-breaking Love Your Bookshop Day, to book signings with some of Australia's leading thinkers and cultural icons, the success of the past year is evidence of what we can achieve with a passionate community behind us.

With every book you purchase, every event you attend, and each new friend you introduce to your favourite local bookshop, you help to strengthen the culture of independent bookselling here in Adelaide. With the recent launch of an online retail giant upon our shores, we expect competition to be fierce in 2018. But we're confident that there remains a place for independent bookshops in Australia’s cultural landscape, because we offer something no online retailer can: air-conditioning.

In all seriousness though, thanks for everything you do to help us grow. We simply would not be here without you, and we look forward to plying you with reading material, impulse purchases, and unsolicited advice for many years to come.
